York ceremony to mark battle of Kohima 70 years on

Hundreds of people, including battle veterans, gathered in York to mark 70 years since the battle of Kohima in northern India.

Many of the troops who fought and died there were based in the city where there is a museum commemorating their sacrifice.

British and Indian forces won defeated the Japanese but 11,000 men lost their lives in a turning point during World War Two.
