Manchester attack: Friends recall moment they were hit

Two friends who were caught up in the Manchester bombing have spoken of the terrifying moment they were hit by shrapnel.

Jack Scanlon and Zara Robson-Rodriguez from Trowbridge, Wiltshire said they were lucky to be alive, and the sights and sounds of that night will never leave them.

Ms Robson-Rodriguez suffered a cut to her leg and Mr Scanlon had his clothing torn by shrapnel.

He said: "I knew that it was something bad. We had to get out of there."
