Swindon cyclist hit-and-run crash filmed on CCTV

CCTV video of a car pulling out of a street and hitting a cyclist before driving off without stopping has been released by police.

The collision happened in the early hours of Wednesday 25 January on Chapel Street in Swindon. The cyclist was unhurt.

Wiltshire Police has appealed for help to trace the owner of the car, believed to be a Vauxhall Corsa.

"The driver did not stop and drove off in the opposite direction (towards Cricklade Road) switching their lights off in the process," said the force.
