Trowbridge girl hopes to walk again after freak surfing injury

An eight-year-old girl from Wiltshire who was left paralysed by a rare injury while surfing hopes to walk again.

Nakita Wright suffered the spinal injury on holiday in Portugal while learning how to jump up on a board.

The condition is known as surfer's myelopathy.

BBC Points West's Will Glennon spoke to Nakita and her mother Natascha.
