New research project into LSD welcomed by patient

A Wiltshire man has said he hopes to see doctors start using the illegal drug LSD to treat severe depression again.

David De Saxe, from Marlborough, was given mind-altering drugs in the 1960s, which he says changed his life.

He has welcomed a new research project into the use of the substances.

Matthew Hill reports.
