The Northumberland volunteer helping refugees in Greece

Ruhi Akhtar from Morpeth is using the money she saved to buy a house to volunteer in Greece to help refugees and migrants.

For more than two years she has travelled 2,000 miles every month to help those trying to rebuild their lives.
