Children suffering from cancer are stars of new hospital video

Children suffering from cancer are taking the starring role in a new video which aims to raise money for a research facility at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary.

The children are all patients at the Great North Children's hospital.

To play their parts in the video the youngsters have been dressing up as doctors and nurses and pretending to carry out medical duties on the paediatric oncology ward.

The idea is to highlight the importance of clinical research and to raise money for the Future Fund.
