Ferry fall survivor Jeni Anderson reunited with crew

A woman who survived a 60ft (18m) fall from a ferry into the North Sea has been reunited with those who helped save her life.

Jeni Anderson, from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, was on a DFDS ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam in September 2011 when she fell overboard.

Spending about 30 minutes in the water screaming as the ferry left her sight, she said she thought she was going to die.

Now, the Northumbria University graduate has returned to the ship and has been reunited with the captain and the off-duty ambulance crew from Carlisle who helped saved her.
