Cider vinegar fed to Acorn Dairy cows to boost health

Cows at Acorn Dairy near Darlington are being pampered with back scratchers and memory foam mattresses as well as being fed apple cider vinegar in a bid to boost their immune systems

Dairy director Graham Tweddle decided to introduce the 90ml of per cow a day to silage after attending a Organic Milk Supply Co-operative conference, which had seen it used in America to prevent and also cure a range of ailments.

He said that although there was no scientific proof as to how it might work, it was already leading to positive results for his herd.
