Specialist knowledge theory over Middlesbrough hives theft

A former steelworker-turned-beekeeper has lost seven years of work after three of his beehives and all his bees were stolen from his allotment.

The theft from the secure compound happened at the end of January.

Ray Robinson from North Ormesby, Middlesbrough, believes only someone with a good working knowledge of beekeeping would have been able to steal the hives.
