Teenagers' skulls stolen from County Durham grave

The skulls of two teenage boys have been taken from a grave in what police describe as a "sickening" theft.

Police say the skulls are from the bodies of two teenage brothers , Levi George Price, who died in 2001 and Gareth Price, who died in 2005 and were taken from the cemetery on Bridge Street, in Metal Bridge, near Ferryhill.

Detectives believe the theft is linked to a feud among travelling families.

Det Supt Adrian Green said "it was totally unacceptable to anybody".
