Sussex-based poem Twitten performed for National Poetry Day

To celebrate National Poetry Day poet James Brookes has been commissioned to write about Brighton.

Members of the public were asked to send in suggestions for a local word. In Sussex, Twitten, meaning alleyway, was selected.

The aim of the project, #freetheword, is to get the chosen word from each region added to the Oxford English Dictionary.
