Brighton 'Babes in Wood' murders marked 30 years on

The bodies of Nicola Fellows and Karen Hadaway, both aged nine, were discovered in bushes in Wild Park, Brighton, a day after they vanished on 9 October 1986.

They had been strangled and sexually assaulted.

No-one has ever been convicted of their murders.

Each year, on the anniversary of their deaths, family and friends hold a vigil close to the spot where they were found.

This year, 30 balloons were released in their memory.
