Robertsbridge artist is at home working in wood

Martin Brockman lives and works in a woodland environment and draws on the materials that surround him.

He carves, paints and prints using locally sourced wood and says of his sculpted animal figures: "They are made of where they are."

An exhibition of some of his work is on show at the Blackshed Gallery in the village.
