Military teddy bears help injured service personnel

A former soldier from East Sussex has used a life-changing injury as an opportunity to help thousands of people.

Sammy Morgan, 48, from Westfield, near Rye, spent seven months in hospital after a serious car accident four years ago.

While in hospital, she came up with the idea of making handmade, uniformed teddy bears to raise money for respite holidays for bereaved military families.

Ian Palmer spoke to Ms Morgan and volunteer Mary Ashcroft.
