Man left brain damaged after Bexhill assault
The family and friends of a man left brain damaged after an attack in Bexhill last year say they want to draw people's attention to the effect such an assault can have.
Alfie Peak, 26, can no longer speak and has to be fed by tube in the rehabilitation centre where he is receiving treatment in Wiltshire.
His fiancee Tanya White travels from East Sussex to spend time with him every week at Glenside Hospital, where Garrett Heidbrink said family support is vital to help patients' recovery.
