Sussex students create Queens on toast
Students at Sussex Coast College are creating an installation made up of 8,300 pieces of toast, each bearing the Queen's head in acrylic ink.
The project, which will cover five walls at the Hastings college, is being led by Canadian-born artist Myles Calvert who said that toast was a British staple that was just as iconic as the Queen's image.
It is hoped the installation, fortified with hairspray, will last about three years and go on tour to other venues.
