Missing airman Corrie Mckeague's mother on search hopes
The mother of a missing airman is leading a family search for her son, RAF serviceman Corrie Mckeague, in a Suffolk forest.
Nicola Urquart said the search would cover a huge area and even if it did not lead to her son being found, she has pledged to continue her campaign until she finds him.
She is funding the search from donations by the public and it is being carried out in conjunction with the Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue Team.
The search, also involving over 70 members of the public, is covering an area of several square miles between RAF Honington, where Mr Mckeague, originally from Dunfermline in Fife, was based, and Barton Mills.
The 23-year-old was last seen after he was escorted out of Flex nightclub in Bury St Edmunds town centre in the early hours of 24 September but the search is taking place close to his base at RAF Honington.
