A young boy whose feet swell is helped by new lymphoedema clinic

A specialist clinic has been set up in Stoke-on-Trent to help children living with an incurable condition that causes their arms and legs to swell.

Lymphoedema involves the build up of fluid in the body's tissues.

Edward Smith, age seven, is one of several children attending the clinic at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. The condition affects his feet which have to be massaged daily.
