Sheffield City Council 'faces doomsday' as cuts bite

Sheffield City Council fears it will run out of money for leisure facilities, the arts and parks by 2018, a report leaked to Sunday Politics said.

The "Graph of Doom" shows how the authority will struggle to afford to pay for non-essential services in the future.

Experts say seats in South Yorkshire remain uncontested in this year's local elections because people do not want to be responsible for "butchering" services.
