Social services 'not aware' 15-year-old girl delivered leaflets for brothel

A 15-year-old girl promoted a brothel masquerading as a massage parlour, a BBC investigation has found.

Amber delivered leaflets for Butterfly's in Weston-super-Mare, using her own images on the leaflets.

Sheila Smith, director of people and communities at North Somerset Council, said it gave advice and support to Amber when she told them what she was doing.

Ms Smith said at the time, she was not aware Butterfly's was a brothel.

An investigation into vulnerable children in Weston-super-Mare can be seen on BBC Inside Out West at 19:30 GMT on Monday and will be available afterwards on the BBC iPlayer.
