Bridgwater school's poppy collection theft sparks online appeal

More than £2,000 has been raised by a public appeal after thieves stole money which had been collected by primary school children for Poppy Day.

Two burglars got away with more than £100 when they targeted St Mary's Primary School in Bridgwater.

But the head teacher told the BBC the success of an internet appeal has shown that good-will always wins, as BBC Points West's Clinton Rogers reports.
