Farmer plans sanctuary for 'abnormal' lambs

A young farmer from Shropshire wants to set up a sanctuary to look after crooked-necked sheep.

Jess Bason was inspired by a lamb nicknamed Crooky who had to bottle-reared from birth eight years ago.

Without constant care she would have died, Ms Bason said.

Even today, Crooky has to feed kneeling down.

Ms Bason hopes other lambs with the same condition, sometimes referred to as wry-neck, can be rescued.
