Terminally-ill Oxford United fan thanks club
Terminally-ill Oxford United fan Steve Dyer has thanked the club after its chairman sent him a message of support.
Oxford-born Mr Dyer went into a hospice on Friday, prompting other fans to leave comments paying tribute to him on BBC Oxford's Facebook page.
Club chairman Darryl Eales also recorded a video dedicating the team's 2-1 win over Peterborough to the 59-year-old.
Mr Dyer was given four months to live when he was diagnosed with bladder cancer in November 2015.
He travelled from his home in the US to watch the U's play at Wembley in April and was left surprised when the manager invited him to meet the team.
