Struggles and hope as Ghana op boy Ethan returns home

In the second of a series following the return of Ethan Suglo, the BBC visited his home village to see the challenges faced by his family and friends.

Ethan was born with his stomach organs on the outside of his body, and he and his family visit the midwives who delivered him.

A mammoth fundraising effort for an operation at the JR Hospital meant his life has been saved.

But donations will help other children who desperately need an operation as well, including Esinam, who has benign facial tumours.
