Oxfordshire D-Day veterans receive French Légion d'honneur

World War Two veterans from Oxfordshire have been honoured by the French government for the role they played in freeing the country from German occupation in the 1940s.

France has been awarding the Légion d'honneur to the D-Day veterans as a way of thanking those who fought and risked their lives to secure the country's liberation.
