Oxford woman calls for protection for house buyers

A woman from Oxford is calling on the government to change the law to protect house buyers.

Kate Astley was days away from buying her first home when the seller increased the price by £13,000 and she had to pull out, losing the money she had spent on the survey and solicitors' fees.

The hiking up of prices by the seller at the last minute has been dubbed "ghost gazumping".
