Autumn Grange care home was 'horrific and appalling'

A woman says she was "horrified and appalled" at the way her mother was treated by care home boss Yousaf Khan, who has been jailed for manslaughter.

Khan, of Nelson Road, Nottingham, admitted the manslaughter of Ivy Atkin at Autumn Grange Care Home, in Nottingham.

The court heard Ms Atkin was found dehydrated, malnourished and with an untreated bed sore.

Evadne Fisher, whose mother Gaye Sefton also lived in the home, said she was "amazed that sort of thing could happen".
