Study to test 'silk' benefits for eczema patients

A clinical trial led by Nottingham academics is looking for hundreds of children to test whether wearing silk clothing could help them with eczema.

The NHS already supplies some patients with silk clothing but this will be the biggest independent test of its benefits.

Eight-year-old Tahmid Ahmed,of Nottingham, hopes the clothing will make his life more comfortable.
