The patient who spent two years in hospital

A patient evicted after spending two years in a hospital bed has said he had "tried to get out of there".

James Paget Hospital, in Gorleston, Norfolk sought a court order to remove Adriano Guedes, 63, who suffers paralysis after a stroke.

The hospital obtained a court order and evicted him two weeks ago, saying he had occupied the bed "unnecessarily".

"I didn't want to stay, and they forced me to stay," Mr Guedes told the BBC.
