Russian sailor rescued twice from Norfolk coast

A sailor from Russia who was left high and dry on Scroby Sands, off Great Yarmouth, has returned home, but not by sea.

He was initially rescued on 6 December, and tried to continue his journey but became stranded again on 12 December.

Peter Paine, the port chaplain for Great Yarmouth, told BBC Radio Norfolk the man had not intended to come to England.
