Corbyn: Remain in EU to improve working conditions in a 'social Europe'

Jeremy Corbyn has told factory workers in Widnes he wants to work with trade unions and other parties in a "social Europe" to improve working conditions.

Mr Corbyn was at Hutchinson's Engineering to make the case for remaining in the European Union, arguing that Britain's EU membership supports jobs, investment and growth and makes us better off.

It came as UKIP's Paul Nuttall was in Liverpool for the party's national tour for the Brexit campaign, and said the Remain campaign is trying to scare people about the economy.
