Free climbing student shares Manchester and Salford views

A student who spends his leisure time free-climbing around Manchester has been sharing his experience through a series of films.

James Jefferies, who studies at the University of Salford, captured his spectacular views from some of the city's highest points.

Free-climbing refers to ascending without climbing aids, though ropes, helmets etc may be used for protection.

The student said he loves "the freedom of exploring and going places where you're not really supposed to go".

BBC North West Tonight's Stuart Pollitt reports.
