Lowry laser exhibition commemorates Alan Turing

A laser exhibition commemorating the wartime code breaker Alan Turing has taken place at the Lowry in Salford Quays.

Turing is credited with cracking the enemy's Enigma code during World War Two.

Laser beams on the Lowry's roof shone the words "thank you" in morse code across the sky.
