Corbyn urges mayor to re-open Tube ticket offices

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has called on London's mayor Sadiq Khan to re-open ticket offices in some Tube stations.

The mayor has refused to re-open ticket offices which were closed by the previous mayor Boris Johnson - but he has vowed to put 200 extra staff in some Tube stations and ensure they are more visible.

The issue was at the heart of a one-day strike by Tube workers which brought chaos to the capital on Monday.

But the Labour leader told BBC London political editor Tim Donovan that did not go far enough and the mayor should think again.
