CCTV footage of a man being stabbed in what police have called a "frenzied and unprovoked" attack in east London has been released.

The victim, aged 50, was stabbed 10 times in Barking and spent weeks in hospital recovering from his injuries.

The suspect is described as aged between 20 and 30, wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up, light-coloured trousers and light trainers.

No-one has been arrested in connection with the attack, said police.
