Senior Asian Met policewoman Parm Sandhu sets example

The Metropolitan Police's highest ranking Asian policewoman has spoken about diversity in the force.

Commander Parm Sandhu has recently become the borough commander in Richmond, south-west London.

Of the Met's 31,000 personnel, the number of Asian women who serve in the force is just 362.

Commander Sandhu told BBC Asian Network's Rahul Joglekar that things have changed a lot since she joined the force 27 years ago.
