Boris Johnson: 'Deep injustice' over lack of London housing
Boris Johnson has accepted Londoners have a "deep and understandable" sense of injustice over the lack of affordable homes in the city.
The mayor made the comment at an international property fair at Olympia, which was surrounded by a group of protesters outside.
Mr Johnson said 500,000 homes could be built over the next decade while the developer of One Hyde Park, Nick Candy, said foreign investment was needed.
But, Lewis Brook from the Radical Housing Network said profits were being put before people.
The leader of Hammersmith and Fulham Council said the authority was working hard to get more affordable homes put on the market.
