'Free man' Talha Ahsan awaiting US release after terror offence sentence

A man from south London who admitted terrorism offences and was sentenced to time already served by a US court, is still waiting to return to London.

Talha Ahsan from Tooting was told he was free in July after admitting aiding terrorists, but his family say they have still not been informed when he will be released.

He has already served eight years in British and American prisons.

The Asian Netwrok's Divya Talwar spoke to Mr Ahsan's father Abu Ahsan, his brother Hamja Ahsan and Sara Ogilvie from Liberty.
