London night bus crime rise prompts call for conductors

The number of crimes committed on night buses in London has risen by nearly 50% over the last two years.

There are now calls for conductors to be introduced on services and the Mayor of London and Transport for London (TfL) have promised to increase the number of police patrols onboard.

BBC London's Noel Titheradge talks to victim Laura Quinn, Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers (Usdaw) spokesman Jim Carty and Peter Brierly of London Citizens, which wants to see the return of conductors.
