Tetney noisy peacocks threatened with eviction

A group of "noisy" mating peacocks are being threatened with eviction by a council in Lincolnshire.

Some people living in Tetney, near Louth, have complained of the noise the birds are making while roaming loose in the village.

It is not known who the birds belong to and how many there are, but East Lindsey Council has issued an eviction notice and said they were tracing the owners.

A petition has been started by some of the residents to keep them in the village.
