Heartsafe campaign to teach lifesaving skills to children

An ambitious cardiac specialist wants to train every secondary school pupil in Leicester and Leicestershire in how to resuscitate a heart attack victim.

Dr Doug Skehan's Heartsafe campaign is teaching CPR and how to use a defibrillator in schools around the county.

The project is backed by former Leicester Tigers and England rugby world cup-winning captain Martin Johnson.

East Midlands Today's Rob Sissons reports.
