Fraudster Simon Buckden lied about having cancer to obtain money and services worth more than £7,500, including being helped to make a promotional video.

Buckden, 44, from Leeds, was jailed for 16 months at Leeds Crown Court after pleading guilty to six counts of fraud.

One of his victims, Mark Currie, was duped into helping Buckden record a short film about his life.
