Wetherby RUFC go 54 games unbeaten

A West Yorkshire rugby side are eyeing up a second unbeaten season in a row having won their last 54 competitive games.

Wetherby RUFC last lost a game in February 2014 and are now just six games away from recording back-to-back league successes.

The team, whose winning streak includes a 136-0 victory against Sheffield Oaks, are also in the quarter finals of the National Junior Vase.

Team coach Mike McHugh-Hicks said his players had "learned how not to lose".
