Family battles for Leeds carnival king crown

Three members of the Condor family are all battling to be crowned carnival king ahead of the Leeds West Indian Carnival.

The first West Indian Carnival in Leeds in 1967 was organised by Arthur France when he was a student at Leeds University.

It is believed to be the oldest event of its kind in Europe.

The carnival king will be crowned on Friday in Leeds Town Hall.
