Bonds of Elswick ice cream parlour closes after 70 years

A popular Lancashire ice cream parlour is set to close down after seven decades of business.

It might not be the ideal weather for it, but ice creams are selling like hot cakes at Bonds of Elswick before the doors close for the final time.

Owner Martin Molloy still hopes to find a buyer before he retires but time is running out as he is due to shut up shop for good on 23 December.
