Kent Police plea to bus passenger over Margate attack

A man seen speaking to a pensioner on a bus may have been the last person to see the 76-year-old before he was attacked, police have said.

Ken Seymour was attacked at his home in Rutland Avenue, Margate on 14 December, and remains in King's College Hospital, London, with a fractured skull and back.

Kent Police want to speak to a man seen on CCTV speaking to Mr Seymour on a bus from Cecil Square to Cliftonville. Det Insp Richard Vickery said it is likely the man was the last person who saw Mr Seymour.

Neighbour Ritchie Anderson told BBC reporter Simon Jones the attack was "absolutely horrendous".
