Kent Police force was 'chasing numbers'

Kent's Chief Constable Ian Learmonth said the force had been "chasing numbers", after a report found 25% of crimes recorded as "no-crimes" were wrongly classified.

He said the focus of Kent Police had changed since the report and was now concentrating on the "quality of service" and was no longer just solving the "easier" crimes.
