Firefighters get equipment and training to deal with flooding

Humberside Fire Service said it was not properly equipped to rescue people when severe flooding hit the region in June 2007.

Firefighters had to use inflatable boats borrowed from home owners.

The service said it has now invested in equipment and training to better deal with flooding.
