Plan to chop trees down in Pershore after people trip

For over a century, rows of trees have been part of the landscape of a Georgian square in the Worcestershire town of Pershore.

More than 15 years ago they installed some new ones. Now there is a plan to chop them down after trees' roots caused several people to trip over in the street.

Worcestershire County Council said it was "looking to try and resolve" the safety issue.

Bob Hockenhull reports.
